Edgefield Recovery Center continues to closely monitor this evolving situation, following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local community health officials. We are taking specific actions to protect or clients and staff.

No Visitors

We ask that all familes and friends refrain from visiting to decrease risk of infection

Screening for Clients and Staff

All clients are given a PCR swab upon admission and quaratined until those results are return. Staff are required to be vaccinated and are screened each day for symtoms including fever, difficulty breathing.

We Will Continue to Admit New Clients

All new clients are screen and swab prior to and at admission

Our facility offers clients mask, we follow social distancing guidelines where possible and sanitize daily.  In some cases we sanitize more often as needed.

How can you limit your exposure?

Wash your hands with soap and water frequently for at least 20 seconds each time

If soap or water is not available, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol

Avoid touching your face

Maintain "social distancing" between others

Avoid contact with people who are sick

Cover your mouth and nose if you cough or sneeze (and immediately wash or sanitize your hands)
